Terms and Conditions for MIRSAC Data Order Portal
By creating an account and placing an order, you (‘User’) agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions:
- Purpose Limitation
- Data obtained through this portal shall be used solely for the specific purpose declared at the time of order. Any other use is strictly prohibited.
- Prohibition on Commercialization
- User shall not commercialize, resell, redistribute or publish the ordered data in any form (digital, print, hard copy, soft copy, etc.).
- Integrity of Data
- Editing, masking, altering metadata or source attribution, re‑labelling, or otherwise modifying the delivered data is not permitted.
- Payment and Order Processing
- Orders will be processed only after receipt of full payment of the fees stipulated by MIRSAC. Users will be notified of the payment amount upon order submission.
- Non‑cancellation
- Once MIRSAC accepts an order for processing, the order cannot be cancelled by the User.
- No Refund
- If a User cancels an order after acceptance for data processing or after payment, any amount prepaid is non‑refundable.
- Account Registration
- Users must provide accurate and complete registration information and maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Intellectual Property
- All rights, title and interest in and to the data remain with MIRSAC or its licensors. User acquires only a limited, non‑exclusive license to use the data subject to these Terms.
- Liability Disclaimer
- MIRSAC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the data. In no event shall MIRSAC be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from data use.
- Amendments
- MIRSAC reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the portal after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
